Tim Seeger

A Celebration of Life for Tim Seeger, 75, of Kilgore will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 5:30 until 7:30 in the evening. Cremation arrangements for Mr. Seeger have been entrusted to the care of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Tim completed his earthly journey on Saturday, June 26, 2021, in Longview.

Tim was born on August 19, 1945, in Tacoma, Washington to the late Gus and Hazel Seeger. He is a 1963 graduate of Kilgore High School. Tim married the love of his life, Glorese Reed in 1967, and they spent the next 54 years making many loving and happy memories together. Tim went to work for Texas Eastman Kodak in 1974 and retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 42 years. When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and fixing things. Tim was an avid sports fan, always supporting the Dallas Cowboys and watching NASCAR, especially his favorite driver Kevin Harvick. His family, especially his grandchildren, were the source of his strength. Spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren were the times that he was happiest.

Tim was reunited with his parents and his in-laws Ottie and Cosette Reed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Glorese Reed Seeger of Kilgore; children, Treba Seeger Garvin of Kilgore, Gus Seeger, and his wife Heidi of Prosper; grandchildren, Drake Moore, Tate Moore, Annabell Garvin, Kolt Seeger, Preslie Seeger. Also, left to carry on his legacy are numerous friends and other loving family members.
