Theodore Evans, Jr., Gilmer, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in Kilgore, Texas. Born on October 6, 1935, in Grayson County, Texas, Theodore lived a life deeply rooted in love, family, and hard work.

A devoted husband to his beloved wife Charlotte Evans for 43 years, Theodore was a pillar of strength and compassion in their family. Together, they created a warm home filled with laughter and joy. Theodore's pride and joy were his sons, Randy Driggers and his wife Theresa, Chad Evans, and Kelley Evans. He also took immense delight in the adventures of his grandsons, Matthew Richard Driggers and his wife Jessica, and Austin Driggers, who were a source of great pride and happiness in his later years.

After dedicating 38 years of his professional life as a Design Engineer at LeTourneau, Theodore earned respect and admiration from his colleagues, thanks to his commitment and expertise. He was not only a man of intellect but also one of considerable character, known for his loving nature towards those around him.

In his leisure time, Theodore embraced the spirit of the cowboy, riding horses, tending to his cattle, and enjoying the tranquil lifestyle of farming. His deep connection to the land and animals reflected his dedication to a life well-lived, filled with purpose and fulfillment.

Theodore is also survived by his sister, Delcie Cole, and her daughter Novella Cripe and husband Earl as well as their children and grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends who will carry forward his legacy of love and devotion. He touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.

Preceding him in death are his parents Theodore Evans and Beulah Chennault Evans and his brother-in-law Robert Cole.
