Tammie went home to her Lord and was welcomed by her parents Michael Lee Renshaw and Jeri Ann Hudgins. She also had a good laugh with her grandparents Kenneth and Kathryn Hudgins, and Taft and Opal Renshaw who all preceded her in death.
She is survived by the two loves of her life, her son Shayne Blackford of Kilgore, Texas, and daughter Jessica Peery of Overton, Texas. She is also survived by her favorite people in the world, her grandchildren Bella Blackford, Cooper Blackford, Kynleigh Peery, Kamila Orta, and Kai Kenney. She is proudly survived by and deeply missed by her siblings, Shane Renshaw and his wife Elise of Bastrop, Texas; Kathy Lee of Kilgore, Texas; and Jason Dodson and wife Rhonda of Hallettsville, Texas.
While Tammie’s extended family is too large to name, she loved them all and would drop anything to be with them, especially if they needed help.
To say Tammie was a rottweiler trapped in a chihuahua body would be an understatement. She refused to be pushed around or bullied. She battled cancer with the determination of an Olympic champion. She lived life on her terms and did things her way! In the last years of her life everything came together for Tammie. She learned to forgive herself and was finally happy.
