Sterling Morrow

November 30, 1937 — August 15, 2021

Funeral services for Mr. Sterling Morrow, 83, of Kilgore will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Morrow passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, in Longview.

Sterling was born on November 30, 1937, in Earle, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Willard and Pearl Morrow. Sterling was a 1955 graduate of Corbon, Texas High School, he attended Delta State College. Sterling served his country in the United States Army and later in National Guard. He was very proficient in archery, was the 1967 Arkansas State Champion, he enjoyed carpentry and building furniture. Sterling was never with out work from selling door to door and driving a truck. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with family.

Mr. Morrow is survived by his children, James Morrow of Longview, Patricia Edlund (Mike) of Kilgore, Billy Morrow (Lynn) of Longview, Donald Morrow of Harleton, Dillon Morrow (Melissa) of Monroe, and Kristi Morrow of Palestine; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Lavonda Lewis, Wanda Franklin, Joe Harris, Don Harris, Jessie Harris, Franklyn Harris, Sue Stewart, and Linda Spencer.
