Shauntell Sheree Copeland

Services for Shauntell “Shauny” Copeland, 51 of Kilgore will be at 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Grace Fellowship Church with Rev. Brian Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:30 on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Grace Fellowship Church in Kilgore. Mrs. Copeland completed her earthly journey on Friday, April 12, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Shauntell was born to Sammy Callens and Debra Walls on March 16, 1973, in New Iberia, Louisiana. In 2007, Shauntell met her soulmate Kenneth Copeland and married on April 13, 2008 in Longview. She was a devout Christian and a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Kilgore. Mrs. Copeland worked as HR Director for a Behavioral hospital in Longview for 6 years. Shauntell enjoyed traveling, jeeping, crafting, beach trips, and woodworking in her free time. Her greatest joy in life was to spend time with her family during Holiday dinners and when playing board games together. Shauntell was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, Honi, and friend who will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Copeland of Kilgore; daughters, Tori Copeland and husband Cole of Newsome, Texas, Bailie Caudle and husband Matthew of Tyler, Texas, Hailie McGuire of Kilgore, Texas, Maddison Huggins and husband Ricky of Gilmer, Texas; son, John O’Brien and wife Jennifer of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters, Nikki Radford and husband Clay of Angleton, Texas and Aimee Callens and Bob Perrault of Longview, Texas; brother, Jay Callens and wife Kristin of White Oak, Texas; mother, Vikki Morrison and Jud of Jacksonville, Texas; nieces, Sarah Marin and husband Josh of Angleton, Texas and Jessica Taylor and husband Tyler of Angleton, Texas; nephews, Kyle Callens of Longview, Texas Brody Callens and Braden Callens of White Oak, Texas; nine grandchildren and numerous other loving family members.

Shauntell was reunited with her father, Sammy Callens, mother, Debra Gates, stepfather, Randy Gates, and stepson, Harrison Knauer.
