Sara Cubine Gage, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and devoted homemaker, passed away on April 27, 2026, in her hometown of Kilgore, Texas, where her life's journey began on June 19, 1964. Sara's enduring love and commitment to her family were at the heart of her life, with her world revolving around her cherished grandchildren. She embraced every moment spent with them, treasuring those bonds above all else.
Throughout her career, Sara worked diligently as a clerk in the retail industry for several years, where her friendly demeanor and dedicated work ethic were greatly appreciated. Beyond her professional endeavors, Sara found joy in the simpler pleasures of life. An avid lover of music, she especially enjoyed the melodies of The Eagles, Michael Jackson, and Toby Keith, which often filled her home with warmth and comfort. Her affection for animals was equally profound, especially for her own beloved fur babies, Pookie and Diesel Dude, who were cherished members of her family.
A passionate supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Sara found excitement and camaraderie in following the team. She also delighted in sharing meals out with family and friends, with Mexican food holding a special place among her favorite dishes.
Sara is survived by her devoted husband, Ronny Lynn Christie, who stood by her side through the years, and their children: Alicia Rai; Courtney Jerry and her husband Marcus; Ronny Lynn Christie, II; and Micheal Hamilton. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Cheryl Ann Evans, and her treasured grandchildren: Aurelio Reyes, Romeo Reyes, Marco Reyes, Emberleena Soria, Lyncohn Kemp, Julianna McCool, and Olivia McCool as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. These family members continue to carry forward her legacy of love and devotion.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Peggy Joann Reed and Donald Lee Cubine; her siblings, Donald Lee Cubine, II, Rebecca Curley, and Cathy Carol; and four grandchildren who remain in cherished memory.
In all aspects of her life, Sara Cubine Gage exemplified warmth, kindness, and a deep dedication to those she loved. Her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of affection and commitment that will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. No other services are scheduled at this time.
