Memorial services for Santos “Tosie” Lopez, 35, of Arp, Texas will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from six until eight o’clock in the evening at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mr. Lopez completed his earthly journey on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Arp, Texas.

Santos was born on February 6, 1988, in Tyler, Texas to Pamela Oliver Lopez and Jose Isabel Lopez. He attended Arp Independent School District and was a member of the 2006 graduating class. Santos was a member of the Arp band for three years. After High School, Santos attended Tyler Junior College. He was exceptionally intelligent, and his quick wit was one of the first things people commented on. Santos adored people; he would have given the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was extremely spiritual. Although he was raised Catholic, Santos studied many other religions. Santos was very creative! You could find Santos playing the guitar, painting, reading, or listening to music in his spare time. Santos danced to the beat of his own drum and was not worried about the opinions of others. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Left to cherish his memory are parents, Pamela and Jose Lopez of Arp, sister Jaclyn Cavazos and husband Jason of Arp, niece and nephews Jay Cavazos, Jasmine Cavazos, and Jackson Cavazos all of Arp, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving family members and friends.

He was reunited with his maternal and paternal grandparents.
