Perk Jones Steddum Cline

Services for Perk Jones Steddum Cline, 78, of Kilgore will be held from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs.Cline passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Longview

Mrs. Cline was born on March 14, 1941 in Kilgore, Texas to the late D.J. Jones and Zora Lela Jackson. She was a 1959 graduate Kilgore High School and raised her family in Kilgore. Perk worked for Brookshire’s in Kilgore for almost 30 years and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Cline was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Steddum; daughters, Sonya Steddum and Cynthia “Sissy” Lanphear and sister, Wanda Mayo.

Perk is survived by her sons; James “Bubba” Cline and wife Alicia of Kilgore and Ricky Steddum of Kilgore; brothers, Jimmy, John and Joe Jones all of Kilgore; grandchildren, Destinee Cline, Wyatt Cline, Nicholas Cline, Matt Steddum, Lacy Steddum, B.J. Vestal, Amanda Sebastian and Jessica Young; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
