Patricia Ann “Pat” Keeling, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on December 9, 1942 to W.M. and Doris Elizabeth Norris Dixon.
She graduated from John Tyler High School in 1961 and later attended Tyler Commercial College. Patricia’s career was marked by steadfast service and professionalism. She contributed her talents to several businesses before serving the final 10 years of her career with Kilgore ISD. Pat rarely missed her grandchildren's activities and was one of their biggest cheerleaders. She was a faithful member of Forest Home Baptist Church for more than 50 years. Her church family was an important part of her life, and her faith in Jesus Christ guided her through every season.
Despite her accomplishments in the workplace, Patricia’s true legacy lies in her devotion to her family. She spent a lifetime providing care and encouragement, fostering an environment where her loved ones felt nourished, supported, and cherished. Her actions spoke volumes about her character and the deep, unconditional love she carried for those close to her.
Patricia is survived by her loving daughter, Glynette Ford and husband Tim and her son, Whitney Keeling, along with his wife Carie. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Kailey Ford, Kourtney Ford, Dylan Harkrider and wife Maria, Paxton Keeling, and Cayman Keeling; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn W. Keeling, her parents, W.M. Dixon and Doris Dixon; and her brothers, James Michael Dixon and Larry Wayne Dixon.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. that will be held at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Rev. Riley Pippen officiating. Private family burial will follow the service.
Pat's family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she faithfully served throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that if you wish to honor Pat's memory, consider making a donation to Forest Home Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice in her name.
