Obituary

Patricia Ann Edlund, born Patricia Ann Morrow on April 19, 1960, in Indianola, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend,

Patricia spent her formative years in Indianola, shaped by the close-knit embrace of her family. Patricia was a devoted homemaker, wonderful cook, gardener, and decorated for holidays until her health no longer allowed her to.

Fishing and boating brought her peace, and camping trips to Lake O’ The Pines became treasured family traditions, filled with memories that will forever linger in the hearts of those who shared them with her. Patricia also found pleasure in the music of Elvis Presley and enjoyed occasional trips to Shreveport with her beloved husband, Mike, sharing adventures and deepening the bond they cherished.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Jerry Michael Edlund, who was her steadfast companion through life’s many chapters. Survived by her mother, Mary Lois Morrow Hope, daughter, Melissa Vaughn, and her son-in-law, Paul, as well as her sons, Bobby Edlund and Timothy Edlund. She found immense joy in her role as grandmother to Hunter Vaughn and wife Shayli, Aryan Edlund, Aryanna (Missy) Edlund, Wyatt Edlund, and Able Edlund.

1 Great grandchild that will be here in January 2027.

Her brothers, James Morrow, Billy Morrow, and Donald Morrow, hold her memory close, as does her brother-in-law, Steve Edlund and wife Sheila.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Sterling Morrow; her stepfather, Pete Hope; and her sister-in-law, Terri Jo Morrow. Their memories are cherished, and she was greeted at the gate to heaven by all three of them.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service honoring Patricia’s life, to be held at Rock Springs Cemetery on July 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM. All who knew and loved Patricia are welcome to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose kindness, warmth, and steadfast love touched the lives of many.

Ther will not be any formal family visitation hours, but family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
