Services for Nancy Hall Majors, 86, of Kilgore will be 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Grandson Myles Adamson officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Majors passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020 at her residence in Kilgore.
She was born September 2, 1933 in Henderson, Texas to the late James Vernon and Lewis Haddock Hall. She married Perry Lynn Majors in 1952. Nancy grew up in Karnack, Texas and she loved spending time at Caddo Lake. She was a longtime member of Eastview Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Nancy was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who will missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Majors is survived by three daughters, Marsha Edney and her husband, Clifton of Kilgore, Melanie Majors-Siers and her husband, Stephen of Kilgore, Melissa Adamson and her husband, David of Kilgore; two sons, Scott Majors and his wife, Lisa of Kilgore, Ben Majors of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Rachel Hooten and her husband, Jason of Kilgore, John Hervey and his wife, Kelly of Carrollton, Mississippi; James Hervey of Kilgore, Amanda Edney Thomas and husband Scott of Slidell, Louisiana, Amye Tucker and her husband, Michael of Kilgore, Josh Majors and his wife, Ashley of Cibola, Texas, Myles Adamson and his wife, Katy of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jesse Adamson and his wife, Danielle of Longview, Madison Burnett and her husband, Shane of Benbrook, Texas, Trace Majors of Fort Worth, Martin Adamson and his wife, Kristi of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marvin Adamson of Houston, Texas; great grandchildren, Caleb, Adam and Nathan Hooten, Gavin Moore and Gavin Thomas, Jackson, Joe and Katie James Hervey, Kai, Sully, August and Birdie Tucker, Eli, Noelle Noah and Olivia Adamson, Titus Adamson and wife Keisha, Asher Adamson, Oliver, Rhys and Hunter Burnett, Eraina Burquez and husband Chris, Tessa and Mary Kate Majors; great great grandchild, Malachai Adamson; several nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Lynn Majors; sister, Mary Gayle Reagan; brother-in-law, Bill Reagan; nieces, Penny Reagan Fruge, Donna Majors and Marilyn Majors Haisten and nephew, Bobby Majors.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Wednesday evening between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
