Molly Fears, 72, of Longview completed her earthly journey on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Longview surrounded by her family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Molly was born on November 18, 1951 in Longview, Texas to the late Norman E. Strickland and Louise Allen. Ms. Fears graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1970. Molly valued a great work ethic and spent many years as a laborer for Mansfield Plumbing and Fleetwood, then later worked as a material handler for Orgill Inc. Molly enjoyed spending time with her family, mainly grandchildren, and going to the movies. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Brandy Lynn McGill, sister, Nancy Broyles, brothers, Bruce Broyles Sr., Douglas Broyles and Norman “Bimbo” Strickland.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Tracy Drury and husband Chris of Kilgore; grandson, Ethan Drury of Kilgore; granddaughters, Addason “Mana” Olvera and Mayson Kennedy McGill of Longview; sister-in-law, Peggy Strickland and her son, Nicholas Strickland of Avery, Texas, son-in-law Octavio Olvera and wife Veronica of Longview and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Dr. J Raul Zapata, Monica and team at DaVita, and PrimeCare for their patience and gracious care of Ms. Fears.
