Mikel Allen

Memorial services for Mr. Mikel Allen, 51, of Kilgore will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore with Pastor Ezard Charles Thomas officiating. Cremation arrangement are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Mr. Allen passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at his home in Kilgore.

Mikel was born on May 29, 1970, in Longview, Texas. He attended Kilgore High School. Mikel enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing and riding his motorcycle. He worked in the air conditioning and heat business. Mikel was a very personable person and loved his time spent with his children and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Allen; grandmother, Nan McMichael; and uncle, Robert Keller.

Mikel is survived by his wife, Melissa Allen of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Autumn Allen Watson and Tyler of Searcy, Arkansas; son Austin Allen of Kilgore; mother; Wanda Joyce Turner of Longview; sister, Tanja Coleman and husband Brent of Cartage; brother, Chris Allen of Kilgore; step-mother, Pandy Allen of Kilgore; several nieces and nephews.
