Mary Louise Mcgraw

August 8, 1933 — November 29, 2022

Graveside services for Mary Louise McGraw, 89 of Anahuac, formerly of Kilgore will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Kilgore City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Biddy officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mary completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.


Mary was born on August 8, 1933, in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late William O. York and Clara Weeks. She worked as a nurse for many years and later became a caregiver for her friends and family. Mrs. McGraw was a member of First Baptist Church Liberty City for many years before moving to Anahuac, where she resided for the last four years. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.


Mary was preceded in death by her husband, A.L. McGraw; brothers, William York, Jimmy York and Robert York; brother-in-law, Bobby Wright.


Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Eugene McGraw and wife Diane of Sugarland, Texas and Kenneth Britt McGraw and wife Debbie of Anahuac, Texas; daughter, Brenda Jean Gregg and husband Ronnie of Nederland, Texas; sister, Martha Sue Wright of Longview and Carol Booth; brothers, Richard York and wife Janet of Colorado and Jack York; grandchildren, Bryce Gregg and wife Kyra of Nederland, Texas, Stefanie Gregg of Brady, Texas, Kaitlin Buhler and husband Troy of Galveston, Texas and Hannah Cody and husband Joe of Anahuac, Texas and great granddaughter, “Sweet Baby Chelesa Cody” and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.


The family wishes to express sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to Ramona, Karen and Jessica with Visiting Angels, Harbor Hospice and caregivers, Mary, Rosetta, Gloria, Effie, Dr. Beaoui and Dr. Redman and officer Rick Davis and Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
