Margaret Rogers

Graveside services for Margaret Rogers, 74 of Kilgore will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ashley Hord officiating. Mrs. Rogers went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, July 25, 2022, in Kilgore.

Margaret was born on January 17, 1948, in Henderson, Texas to Alton Young and Sybil Bennett. Margaret worked as a beautician for over 35 years in Kilgore and was member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Her family was her source of a strength and spending time with them was when she was the happiest. Mrs. Rogers was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be missed by all that knew her.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Alton Young and Sybil Bennett.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Thomas Rogers of Kilgore; son, John T. Rogers and wife Crysty of Kilgore; sisters, Connie Smith of Kilgore and Betty Orms of Kilgore; grandchildren, Jordan rogers and wife Austin, Pharyn Rogers, Kavan Rogers and Megan Rogers; great grandchildren, Jody Rogers, Jackie Rogers, Izzy Rogers, Jordyn Brown, Reagan Brown, Jaxson Brown and Harden Brown as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
