Services for Linda Kay Spencer, 69, of Kilgore will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at eleven o’clock in the morning at Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Carthage, Texas with Reverend Mike Matlock officiating. Linda completed her earthly journey on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in Longview surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on October 31, 1952, in Henderson, Texas to Alice Marie Brown and James William Brown. Linda was a devoted Christian and spent the majority of her time serving the Lord. She was a long-time member of the Bible Baptist Church of Overton. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, and westerns and spending time with her family. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Phillips of Kilgore, Donny Baker of Kilgore, and Jennifer Atchley of Kilgore, her sister, Fay Thompson and husband Ben Thompson of Longview, grandchildren, Falon Craver and husband CJ Craver of Longview, Daniel Baker of Kilgore, Trey Jackson of Kilgore, Brandon Jackson of El Paso, Trevor Baker of Overton, Kiatlyn Koontz of Kilgore, Raegan Irwin of Kilgore, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Betty Sue Smith, Jimmie Baker, Martha Gonzales, JoAnn LaBeff, Allen Brown, and Harold Brown.
