Lillian Virginia Custer

Graveside services for Lillian Custer, 90, of Kilgore will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Kilgore City Cemetery with Rev. Riley Pippen officiating. Mrs. Custer passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, in Kilgore.

Lillian was born on November 23, 1932 in Breckenridge, Texas to the late Harry St. Clair Clark and Lillian Ruth Lusby. Mrs. Custer was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and worked Kilgore National bank for many years prior to working for Swepco Electric Company before retiring in 1995. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Lillian was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Benton Custer, Sr; son, Kelly Custer; sister, Patsy Ruth Clark Dorman and brother, Harry Gene Clark.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Ball and husband Richard of Lone Star, Texas; son, Benton Custer and wife Donna of Kilgore; brother, Steve Yocom of Kilgore; grandchildren, Amber and Jason Shaw of Hugh Springs and Brandi and Chris Heimer of Liberty City; great grandchildren, Blaine Shaw, Madelyn Shaw, Ava Heimer and Caroline Heimer and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
