Lenora "Lee" Jewel
Killingsworth
Jul 8, 1930 — Aug 27, 2026
Kilgore
Monday
Lenora "Lee" Jewel Killingsworth, known to most as "Momma Lee", 96, passed away on August 27, 2026, in Kilgore. She was born on July 8, 1930, in Stillwell, Oklahoma. She was very proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage and enjoyed sharing stories of her childhood, ancestors, and trips to Oklahoma.
Lee will be remembered as a feisty, honest, and headstrong woman whose energy seemed endless. She was a true social butterfly, always busy and rarely still. She loved being outdoors and took great pride in beautifying her yard, tending carefully to her flowers and creating a home that reflected her spirit. She worked tirelessly to raise her family and maintain her home, and in those daily acts she built a life centered on care, strength, and devotion.
More than anything, Lee was proud of her family. Her home was most often full of people, and those who entered it were received with warmth and made to feel they belonged. That generous way of living, opening both her home and her heart, became one of the clearest expressions of who she was.
She is survived by her sons, Charles “Chuck” Lower and his wife, Olivia, and Tim Reese and his wife, Dana; her daughter, Stacie Bynum and her husband, Paul; and her daughters-in-law, Dean Killingsworth and Shirley Killingsworth. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren who adore their beloved "Mimi"; Michael, Cory, Ricky, Jeramy, Cheyenne with her fiancé Braiden, Harlie with her fiancé Ethan, Frances, Shane, Justin, Melodee, Emmalee, and many great grand-children. Each carries forward memories of her strong presence, her candid nature, and the love that filled her home. She is missed dearly by her sister, Irene Kirk, and several nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bennett Killingsworth, whom she lovingly called “CBK”; her sons, Dale Killingsworth and Mike "Choker" Killingsworth; and her parents, Albert and Lillian Gonzales.
Visitation will be held on August 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662.
Lee leaves behind a legacy of family, hospitality, hard work, and the beauty she cultivated both in her home and in the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
