Kenneth Dale Morris

Kenneth passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Tyler. He was born May 29, 1940 in Palestine, Texas. Mr. Morris worked in the oilfield sales industry and for Dusty Rhodes in Kilgore and later worked for Kilgore Tire Center.

The Ken I lived with for fourteen years was probably not the Ken you remember. Although Ken was a generous man. He was generous with his time, and he was always ready to help people in need when he could. Anyone who knows him surely remembers that about him. Ken loved his kids, and he loved his brothers. When Ken and I married, I saw that he had faith by the grace of God through Jesus Christ, but he was lacking a close spiritual walk with the Lord. Well, the lord took hold of Ken and he began to grow, becoming a new person in the Lord. My Ken was kind and gentle and he never, never raised his voice in anger to me, and every day he would tell me how very much he loved me. He was my best friend, and it was a privilege and a blessing and an honor to be his wife. I loved him dearly, and until we meet again in Heaven, I will miss him.

He is survived by his wife, Olline Firestone of Tyler; sons, Terry Morris and wife Kim of Longview and Stephen Morris of Longview; brother, Ronald David Morris of Coffee City, Texas and numerous other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Morris and Lofie Brooks and daughter, Lesa Morris.

Memorial visitation for Kenneth Dale Morris, 85 of Tyler will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00PM at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
