Kelly Scott Custer

Graveside services for Kelly Custer, 51, of Kilgore will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Kilgore City Cemetery with Rev. Riley Pippen officiating. Mr. Custer passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, in Longview.

Kelly was born on July 3, 1970 in Gladewater, Texas to Arthur Benton Custer, Sr. and Lillian Virginia Clark. Kelly was a graduate of Kilgore High School and was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Mr. Custer worked for Brookshires for many years. Kelly enjoyed traveling to Dallas and listening to music. He was a faithful Christian and will be missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Custer, Sr. in 2018; grandmother, Ruth Yocom.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lillian Custer of Kilgore; sister, Karen Ball and husband Richard of Lone Star, Texas; brother, Benton Custer and wife Donna of Kilgore; nieces, Amber Shaw and husband Jason of Hughes Springs, Texas and Brandi Heimer and husband Chris of Liberty City; uncle, Steve Yocom of Kilgore; great nieces, Ava Heimer, Caroline Heimer and Madelyn Shaw and great nephew, Blaine Shaw and other loving family members.
