Judy Dianne Davidson Luster

Judy Dianne Davidson Luster peacefully departed this world to be with Christ on June 3, 2025. A funeral service will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 until 11:00 am.

Born November 14, 1951 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Betty Davidson, Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She graduated nursing school in 1993 and cared for patients at Good Shepherd Hospital for 25 years before retiring in 2017. She enjoyed planting flowers, expressing herself creatively with arts and crafts, was a talented seamstress, and she loved to cruise. Judy faced many adversities in her life, but God gave her a determined and adventurous spirit to overcome them.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother, her parents-in-law Lionel Luster, Sr. and Jeanne Luster, her brother Ricky Busbee, and her beloved son James Wesley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Lionel Luster Jr., her daughters; Shelby (Jerrold) Killingsworth of Hallsville, and Amanda Ferguson of Hallsville, her grandchildren Drake Killingsworth and Bailey Ferguson, both of Longview.

In lieu of flowers, Judy’s family would be honored by donations for the American Cancer Society or HeartsWay Hospice of Northwest Texas, PO Box 5608, Longview, Texas, 75608..
