Mass of Christian Burial for Jose Ventura Sanchez, 66, of Kilgore, will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 6pm. A visitation will follow.

Jose was born in Mexico, on September 13, 1954 to Arnulfo Sanchez and Esthela Luna Sanchez. He was a member of Christi the King Catholic Church in Kilgore and an amazing friend and very hard worker. Jose was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria Sanchez of Kilgore; daughters, Juanela Sanchez of Kilgore, Briseida Barron and husband Omar of Longview, and Viridiana Lazaro and husband Alberto of Overton; sons, Jose Sanchez Jr. and wife Andrea of Kilgore, Edgar Sanchez of Kilgore, Alejandro Sanchez and wife Carla of Tatum, and Bismarck Barron and wife Gabriela of Longview; 21 grandchildren; brothers, Pepe Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Roberto Sanchez, Luis Sanchez, Arnulfo Sanchez, and Poncho Sanchez; sisters, Maria Luisa Sanchez, Antonia Salazar, and Mariana Diaz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Estelle Sanchez Flores; his first wife, Gloria Sanchez; and a brother Juan Antonio Sanchez.

La Misa de Entierro Cristiano para José Ventura Sánchez, de 66 años, de Kilgore, se celebrará a las 14:00 horas del jueves 24 de septiembre de 2020 en la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey. José nació en México, el 13 de septiembre de 1954, hijo de Arnulfo Sánchez y Estela Luna Sánchez. Fue miembro de Christi la Iglesia Católica Rey en Kilgore y un amigo increíble y trabajador muy trabajador. José era un esposo amoroso, padre y abuelo y lo extrañará todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaban.
