Jonathan Josue Perez

Jonathan Josue Perez, lovingly known as “JP,” was born June 11th, 2005, in Kilgore, Texas, to J. Isabel Perez and Rosalba Rico Perez. He passed away from this life on September 29th, 2025.

Jonathan enjoyed singing, playing video games, and being surrounded by family and friends. His two favorite things in the world were the color black and music. Jonathan loved being the light in every room, always bringing happiness and smiles to those around him. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents: J. Isabel Perez and Rosalba Perez; siblings: Robert (Selena) Perez, Alondra (Nicolas) Palacios-Perez, Esmeralda (Alex) Servin-Huerta, Christopher Perez, several nieces and nephews whom he adored and Grandparents: (M) Maria Soledad Rico, (P) Malchor Perez and Juliana Landaverde, and several aunts and uncles. All will cherish his memory.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Rico Serrano.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are J. Isabel Perez, Robert Perez, Christopher Perez, Rene Rico, Jose Rico Jr., Anthony Garcia, Jaime Vazquez Jr., and Jesus Llanes.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. Interment will follow at Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home.

Jonathan Josué Pérez, conocido cariñosamente como "JP", nació el 11 de junio de 2005 en Kilgore, Texas, hijo de J. Isabel Pérez y Rosalba Rico Pérez. Falleció el 29 de septiembre de 2025.

A Jonathan le gustaba cantar, jugar videojuegos y estar rodeado de familiares y amigos. Sus dos cosas favoritas en el mundo eran el color negro y la música. A Jonathan le encantaba ser la luz en cada habitación, siempre trayendo felicidad y sonrisas a quienes lo rodeaban. Fue profundamente amado y lo extrañaremos mucho.

Los que quedan para atesorar su memoria son sus padres: J. Isabel Pérez y Rosalba Pérez; hermanos: Robert (Selena) Pérez, Alondra (Nicolás) Palacios-Pérez, Esmeralda (Alex) Servin-Huerta, Christopher Pérez, varias sobrinas y sobrinos a quienes adoraba y abuelos: (M) María Soledad Rico, (P) Malchor Pérez y Juliana Landaverde, y varias tías y tíos. Todos apreciarán su memoria.

Jonathan es precedido en la muerte por su abuelo, José Rico Serrano.

Tienen el honor de servir como portadores del féretro J. Isabel Pérez, Robert Pérez, Christopher Pérez, René Rico, José Rico Jr., Anthony García, Jaime Vázquez Jr. y Jesús Llanes.

La Celebración de la Vida se llevará a cabo a las 2:00 p.m., el martes 7 de octubre de 2025, en la Capilla de la Funeraria Rader en Kilgore. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Danville. La familia recibirá a sus amigos el lunes por la noche de 6:00 a 8:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Rader.
