Johnnie Northcutt, a cherished figure in his community and a beloved family man, passed away on September 19, 2024, in Longview, Texas, at the age of 81. Born on July 23, 1943, in Kilgore, Texas, Johnnie lived a life rich with experiences and love, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.Johnnie's passions included fishing, with a particular enthusiasm for crappie fishing. This pastime brought him much joy and provided the opportunity for memorable moments spent with loved ones. Professionally, he distinguished himself as a real estate investor, a role that reflected his keen business acumen and determination.Johnnie was not only a successful investor but also a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He shared 60 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Linda Kifer Northcutt, residing in Overton, Texas. 

He is survived by his daughter Renae Andra Stewart and her husband Anthony of Longview, his grandson John Michael Stewart of Longview, and his granddaughter Vickey Lynn Stewart Grisham and her husband Dylan of Tatum. His family, which included beloved sisters, Renae J. Heilman and her husband Richard of Sarasota, FL, and Barbara L. Kline of Longview, will cherish their memories of him dearly.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Alford Northcutt and Rachel Mamie Graves Northcutt, who shaped the foundation of his values and character. Johnnie Northcutt's warmth and spirit will be profoundly missed, but the love he shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

Graveside service for Mr. Johnnie Northcutt will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Danville Cemetery with Reverend David Hampton officiating.
