Jessie Marie Cox

Services for Jessie Marie Cox, 75 of Kilgore will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. Cox passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, in Longview surrounded by family.

She was born on April 7, 1946, in Longview, Texas to the late James Romans and Abby Taylor. Jessie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.

Jessie is survived by her daughters, Jenny Funk of Kilgore, Tonya Williams of Kilgore; sons, Johnny Williams of Midland, Texas, and James Arthur Cox and wife Kim of Overton; brothers, Herbert Haddick of Longview, and Ricky Haddick of Harleton; brothers-in-law, Chip Cox, Jimmy Cox and Colton Cox all of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Francis Cox of Arkansas; stepchildren, Roy Dale Cox of Oklahoma and Frankie Cox of Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.

Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy W. Cox; daughter, Patty Jean Cox; son, Thomas Wayne Cox; stepchildren, Dorcus Ann Cox and Larry Dale Cox; brother, Terry Joe Stokely.
