Jeannette Denning Letsinger, born on December 6, 1938, in El Paso, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2025, at her residence in Longview, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was a testament to kindness, humor, and devotion, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
A graduate of Ysleta High School in El Paso. Jeannette moved to Kilgore in 1991 and attended Kilgore College. She would marry Wayne Letsinger on January 2000. She worked in medical equipment sales and later worked for Roy H. Laird Hospital where she worked for several years.
She was a wonderful mother to her children, Kelly McCuan, who resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico; John Scott McCuan and wife Lois, who live in Troup, Texas; and Casey McCuan of El Paso, Texas; Jeannette was also blessed with eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren as well as numerous, nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Her role as a mother was one that she cherished deeply, and her family was always her priority.
Jeannette was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her kind and loving nature. She shared her life with her husband, Wayne Letsinger, who survives her. Together, they created a warm and loving home where laughter and joy flourished. Alongside her family and career, Jeannette had a passion for square dancing, a hobby that brought her joy and happiness.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Pete Hale; brother, Roger Denning; and her parents, CW Denning and Rose Jean Stewart. While she is deeply missed by her family and friends, her spirit and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
