Jason Andrew Baugh, born on April 23, 1982, in Mt. Vernon, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2025, in Kilgore, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love. A dedicated Hydrostatic Test Operator in the Oilfield, Jason was known for his exceptional work ethic and has made significant contributions to his field.
Jason was celebrated for his engaging personality; he never met a stranger, possessed a great sense of humor, and was always joking, ensuring those around him smiled. His adventurous spirit led him to live life on his own terms, with his greatest passions being his faith in God and his family. He loved spending time outdoors, whether it involved fishing, riding motorcycles, grilling, or cooking out. His love for music and dancing brought many moments of joy, shared with those he cherished most.
He is survived by his wife, Delissa Hayes; father, Howard Baugh and wife Beth; son, Jacob Baugh; daughter, Alissa Hayes and husband Wesley Hailer; son, Taylor Hayes and wife Stormy Faris; daughter, Alizabeth Hayes and husband Montero Ferguson; son, Levi Hayes; brothers, Kevin Baugh and wife Christina, Corey Baugh, Dennis Fairchild, Jesse Fairchild and wife, and Sampson Fairchild; sisters, Maegan Harvey and husband Ryan, and Mary Jimerson and husband Fuzzy; sister, Letha Martin; grandchildren, Skyler Ferguson and Jaxson Hailer; uncle, Tommy Baugh; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Luke Baugh, Remington Harvey, Riley Harvey, Kaiden Fry, Dennis Fairchild, Jr., Zachary Fairchild, Jurmanee Fairchild, Journee Fairchild, Jesse Fairchild, Jr., Hunter Fairchild, Shadrack Fairchild, Solomon Fairchild, Alexia Luker, Jesse Hopper, William Fairchild, Lisa Martin, Dexter Walters and Mickey Walters; great nephew, Waylon Fry as well as many other loving family and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Wanda Marlene Drake Baugh; stepson Zachary Hayes, grandparents, Big Paul and Granny; mother-in-law who Jason referred to as "Momma", Jackie "Nanna" Fairchild; and sisters-in-law, Tawana Fairchild and Debbie Fairchild.
Visitation with family will take place at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, Texas, on September 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Vernon City Cemetery on September 6, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM.
Jason Andrew Baugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
