Jack Ober

Private services for Harold Ray “Jack” Ober, 89, of Colleyville, Texas will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mr. Ober passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Scott and White Medical Center in Grapevine.
He was born on November 22, 1931, in West Monroe, Louisiana to the late Charlie Ober and Alice Sears. Jack served in the Air Force during World War II and enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. He was loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather who will missed by all that knew him.
Jack is survived by his wife, Betty Ober of Colleyville; sons, Charles Ober of Longview, John Ober of Willis, Texas and Greg Clayton of Bedford, Texas; grandchildren, Charley Ober, Justin Ober and Allison Clayton; sisters, Marie Fenton of Longview and Patsy Chittenden of Las Vegas, Nevada and numerous, nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Jack is preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Jackson and Geneva Teague and brother, Pete Ober.
