Services for Helen Chirstine Moore, 94 of Kilgore will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Rev. Keith Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery.
Helen Christine was born on December 9, 1927, in Marietta, Texas, to the late Walter and Arrie Cox and joined her loved ones in heaven on January 26, 2022. Helen married William Lynwood Moore on August 1, 1945. She was a member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church for over seventy-four years. She always preferred to being outside working in her flower beds and numerous gardens and had a love for horses. She tried her best to get her children to have the same love but she failed. Her family was her source of her happiness and there was nothing she would not do to make things better for her children. Helen was a very strong, loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who will missed by all that knew her.
Helen was reunited with her parents, husband, William Lynwood Moore, great granddaughter, Toni Leigh Silva, great-great granddaughter, Elleigh Lorraine Silva, one sister and two brothers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Johnson and husband Mark of Kilgore, Sandra Snow and husband Don of Pikeville, Tennessee and Walter Moore and wife Vicki of Tyler; grandchildren, Kirby Sheets and wife Candace, Christopher Sheets, Amy Snow, Emily Snow, Stephanie Harris and husband Rodney, Krystal Perkins and husband Michael, Amy Williams and husband Jerry and Sarit Carsten and husband Jeremy; great grandchildren, Karley, Kelsey, Ryker Sheets, Erin Snow, Austin Wilkey, Kaine Perkins, Kali Perkins, Adria Moore-Cortes, Dustin Gaschler and wife Angela, Nathan Williams and Luke Williams; great-great grandchildren, Olivia Silva, Aria Gaschler, Walker Gaschler and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff members of Arbor Grace for the extra care that took on their loved one.
