Hector Anibal Hernandez

Hector Anibal Hernandez, 86, of Kilgore passed away on May 16, 2022 at his home in Kilgore, TX. Hector was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Hector was born in La Gloria, Veracruz, Mexico on March 14, 1936 to the late Enedina Gonzales Calderon and Francisco Hernandez Morales. He worked as an Agricultural Engineer for many years and was a member of the Christ The King Catholic Church.

Hector is preceded in death by his wife, Lilia Graciela Parra Zamora who he married on October 21, 1961. Also continuing to celebrate his life are his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. He is survived by his three children: Hector Raul Hernandez (Carla) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Gustavo Alonso Hernandez (Lisa) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lilia Fabiola Hernandez Anderson (Tommy) of Kilgore, Texas, and sister, Felicitas Loeza. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren Matthew (Hannah), Andrew, Ryan (Hailee), Rachel, Harrison, and one great grandchild, Lincoln. He was also loved by his step grandchildren Kaleb (Mallory), Jacob (Allia), and Mikki-Anita; step great- grandchildren Faith and Jesse; and ex-daughter in-law Terri Hernandez and their families.

Please join us in a mass celebrating his life on Friday, May 20th 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore with Fr. John Henao officiating.
