Georgia dedicated her career to the Department of Transportation for the state of Louisiana. Throughout her professional journey, she was known for her hard work, diligence, and commitment to serving her community. Her role allowed her to positively impact many lives, a reflection of her caring nature.
A true cowgirl at heart, Georgia reveled in her love for the outdoors. She thrived under the open sky, enjoying every opportunity to embrace nature. Simply spending time outside, her adventurous spirit shone brightly, embodying the essence of a free soul.
Above all, Georgia cherished her time with family and friends. She adored visiting with loved ones, where heartfelt conversations and cherished memories were plentiful. Her warm personality drew people in, and she will be remembered for her kind heart and generous spirit.
Georgia was predeceased by her loving parents, George Luther and Lena Branum Hayes, whose influence shaped her into the remarkable person she was. She leaves behind her beloved family, including her niece Robin Ware and husband Ricky, nephew Roger Lind, nephew Terry Lind and wife Julie, niece Linda Lind, and niece Katherine "Kitty" Lind. Their lives were brighter for having known Georgia, and her legacy will continue through them.
A private family committal will take place at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore.
The family request in lieu of flowers that donations in Georgia's memory be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Georgia Annette Stoddard profoundly touched the hearts of those around her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
