Gary Matthew Stewart

Gary Matthew Stewart was born September 9, 1966, in Kilgore, Texas and passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his home in Kilgore. He is known for his lighthearted personality and enjoyed living the rebel lifestyle. Gary (Snakebite) enjoyed having cookouts, fishing, riding horses, riding his motorcycle, and beekeeping, but most of all he loved hanging out with his family and friends.

Gary is survived by his daughters Leslie and Josh Jordan, Cassie Stewart and Darrell Deshotel, Whitney and Darris Powledge, Laci Golden and Kristi Golden, wife Kathy, sisters Delight Fails and Dianna Bass, grandchildren Cameron, Jenna, Eli, Ellie, Konner, Kaden, and Gabriel, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maurene Stewart, and his brothers Mike and Wayne Stewart.

Funeral Services for Gary will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jason Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
