Garline Turner Hillhouse

Services for Garline Turner Hillhouse, 72 of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 2 p.m., at Rader Funeral Home, in Kilgore, with Scott Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens, in Henderson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on, Friday, July 30, 2021, from 5 until 7 in the evening. Garline was reunited with her parents and loved ones on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Mrs. Hillhouse was born on November 13, 1948, in Kilgore to the late J.B. and Lola Mae Turner. Garline was a proud Kilgore Bulldog baton twirler and graduated in the class of 1967. Garline married the love of her life Roger Hillhouse on May 22, 1972. They had two children together who were the light of her life. She later continued her education at Kilgore College where she received her associate degree. Garline brought joy to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, and never met a stranger. She always had a cheerful attitude and a beautiful smile to match. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and showing off their pictures every time she had the chance. Garline will be truly missed by her loving family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roger Hillhouse; children, Joseph Christopher Hillhouse and his wife Shawna, Amanda Denise Frazier and her husband Kip; sister Robin Johnson and husband Frank, grandchildren, Jarrod Bryce Allison, Chandler Gage Allison, Jace Christopher Hillhouse, Tayrn Elizabeth Hillhouse, Brodie Christopher Hillhouse, Elijah Cade Frazier, Addilynn Jaide Frazier; nieces Eva Carnes, and Claire Wilkie.
