Evelyn Laverne Warlick

Private family graveside services for Evelyn Warlick of Kilgore will be Monday, April 26, 2021 at Danville Cemetery with Rev. Paul Michael Vacca officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Evelyn Laverne Rambo Warlick, 94, of Liberty City passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on April 21, 2021.

Evelyn was born on February 26, 1927 to Benjamin and Zora Rambo of Upshur County. She attended Gladewater schools. Evelyn married Leo Warlick in 1943 and they had three children, Joann, Gail, and Mike.

Evelyn and Leo were married for 71 years until he passed away in 2014. Evelyn worked at Honey Togs in Gladewater, and General Electric in Tyler before she retired. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, being a homemaker, caring for her flowers and plants, shopping, listening to Christian music and family gatherings. Evelyn loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all her heart. Evelyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Liberty City.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Leo Warlick; infant daughter, Sarah Evelyn Warlick; her parents, Benjamin and Zora Rambo; sister, Allie Hoover; brother, Charles Rambo; brother, J.D. Davis.

Survivors include her children Joann and Jim Winfree of Shreveport, Gail Jackson of Kilgore, Mike and Vicky Warlick of Liberty City. Grandchildren Rae Ann Pool, Chris and Norina Bird, Nathan Mark and Anjana Jackson, Jason Jackson, Clint and Sarah Jackson, Cheyenne and Craig Alexander, Staci and Tyler Freeman, and Jenna Warlick. Great Grandchildren Lindsay Reynolds, Avery Jackson, Nolan Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Landry Jackson, Avery Alexander, Bailey Alexander, Colt Alexander, Norah Freeman, Grayson Freeman, and Eden Freeman.
