Daniel Ray Stark

Daniel Ray Stark, 47, of Kilgore, Tx, passed away on October 27th, 2020 in Tyler, Tx. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, November 7th at Rader Funeral Home with The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.

Daniel was born in Odessa, Texas on August 7th, 1973. He graduated from Midland College as a Firefighter and EMT. He married Melissa Olguin, the love of his life, on July 30th, 1994 in Odessa, Tx. They were happily married for 26 years, which were filled with love. It was during this time he fathered his two pride and joy’s Quayln and Emery Stark. He served as a firefighter and EMT for Big Springs, Odessa, and Midland Texas for several years before working in fire prevention. Daniel had an infectious laugh and always had a distinctive smile on his face. Daniel spent his free time playing guitar, reading, hunting, fishing and making people laugh. Even after major TBI’s, a stroke, and multiple seizures, Daniel still found time in his last 9 months of life to crack a joke and make his love known.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother in law Yolanda Olguin, his grandmother Polly Reeves, his grandfather Charles Reeves, his grandmother Ruby Stark, and his grandfather Sheil Louis Stark.

Daniel is survived by his wife Melissa Stark, his son Quayln Stark, his daughter Emery Stark, his brother Shane Stark, His sisters Sherry Kibler and Sheila Sacia, and his father Louis Stark.
