Curtis Lee Brown, a dedicated Inventory Specialist who lovingly devoted 27 years of his life to his career before retiring in 2025, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Longview, Texas. Born on March 13, 1958, in Port Clinton, Ohio, Curtis was known for his confidence, determination, and an unwavering work ethic that shone through in all his endeavors.

Throughout his life, Curtis exhibited a great sense of humor and a tenacity that made him well-respected by colleagues and friends alike. Once he made up his mind about any task, he was steadfast in ensuring its completion, which earned him admiration for his hardworking nature. He took great pride in his family and cherished moments spent with them and his friends.

Curtis is survived by his beloved sister, Tonya Brown, as well as his niece Sydney Rodgers and her husband James, nephew Blake Robins, and niece Billie Kay Roe and her husband Joe. He is also survived by a host of great nieces and nephews, along with other loving family and friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George William Brown and Margaret Ann Murray Brown, and his sister, Terry Robins.

A visitation for Curtis will take place on February 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home, located at 401 North Martin Street, Kilgore, Texas 75662. As friends and family gather to honor his memory, they will reflect on the joy and laughter he brought into their lives and the lasting impact he had on everyone he met.
