Correne Wadle

Services for Correne Wadle, 86 of Turnertown will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Revs. Bradley Reed and Robert Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 Sunday afternoon at Rader funeral home. Mrs. Wadle passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Henderson.

Correne was born October 15, 1936, in Slick, Oklahoma to Henry Gillispie and Hallie Gillispie. Mrs. Wadle graduated from New London High School in 1955. She was member of Kilgore Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a nurse for Henderson Memorial Hospital for 5 years. Correne enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Gillispie and Hallie Gillispie; son, Randy Wadle; sister, Virginia Russell brothers, Buddy Gillispie and Joe Gillispie.

Correne is survived by her husband of 67 years, Haskell Wadle, Sr. of Turnertown; son, Haskell Wadle, Jr. and wife Ann of Turnertown; grandchildren, Ginger Fulgham and husband Christopher of New London and Brandon Wadle and wife Ashley of Turnertown; great grandchildren, Stephanie Fulgham, Summer Fulgham, Shane Fulgham and Bailey Sullivan and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
