Services for Colton Richard Stephenson, 30, of Kilgore will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at one o’clock in the afternoon at Crosspointe Fellowship Church in Kilgore with Pastor Manny Cirilo officiating. A visitation will be held from twelve o’clock until one o’clock at Crosspointe Fellowship Church. A private burial will immediately follow the service. Colton completed his earthly journey on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Colton was born on May 3, 1993, in Longview, Texas to Kari Elizabeth Campbell Porter and Josef Phillip Stephenson. He was a proud Kilgore Bulldog and member of the graduating class of 2011. Colton worked at Nine Energy Service as a pump operator for the last two years and worked in the oilfield community since he was eighteen. He married the love of his life Ashley Marie Allen on January 18, 2019. Colton and Ashley celebrated their fifth year of marriage this year. He was a devoted father above all else. Colton adored his children. He enjoyed barbequing for his loved ones, fellowshipping with his friends, playing 42 and golfing in his free time. Colton was a Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M football fan and never missed a game. Colton was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Ashley Marie Allen Stephenson of Kilgore, step-daughter Levi Grace Davis of Kilgore, son Chief Stephenson of Kilgore, daughter Chesni Stephenson of Kilgore, mother Kari Porter of Kilgore, father Josef Stephenson of Kilgore, brother Ryan Stephenson and wife Samantha of McKinney, grandmother Diana Mcglasson of Kilgore, aunts Kami Day of Kilgore and Kandiss Lane of Kilgore, uncle Bruce Stephenson and wife Laura of White Oak, along with numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and other loving family members.
Colton was reunited with his son Colton Stephenson, Jr., grandparents Del Mcglasson, Gerdie Headen, and Carl Richard “Chief” Headen, and great-grandparents Rose Cole and Lee Cole.
