Christopher John "Chris" Ennis

Memorial services for Chris Ennis, 55 of Overton will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Rev. Oby Ennis officiating. Mr. Ennis passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Tyler.

Mr. Ennis was born on September 5, 1966 in Manhatten, New York and beloved son of John O’Hanlon and Louise O’Hanlon. Chris lived in Allen, Texas prior to moving to Overton in 2021. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, cousin and friend who will be missed by all that knew him.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Shirley Ennis of Overton; daughters, Kristy Peters and husband Jason of Brownsboro, Texas and Kathleen Ennis of Goshen, New York; son, Michael Ennis and wife, Darcy Ennis, of Overton; sisters, Janet O’Hanlon of Poughkeepsie, New York and Lori O’Hanlon of Carmel, New York; brother, Oby Ennis of Yorktown Heights, New York; parents, John and Louise O’Hanlon of Poughkeepsie, New York; grandchildren, Serenity Knowles, George Card, Weston Ennis, and Ryder Ennis and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.
