Funeral Services for Mr. Charles “Randy” Johnson, 66, of Longview will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Two O’clock in the afternoon in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Lawrence Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Rusk County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday before services from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Randy passed away on Thursday, October 1st at his home in Longview following a lengthy illness.

Randy was born on November 3, 1959, in Longview. He was the son of the late Virdell Wilson and Betty Joyce Johnson. He lived most of his life in the Longview area. Randy worked for many years as a machinist for LeTourneau Technologies in Longview and in later years he worked for E & S Machine. Randy loved his family and friends and the time he spent playing games. He enjoyed playing pool, playing Moon, going fishing and cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed by so many but will never be forgotten.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Ami Dent and son-in-law Ned of Longview; grandchildren, Anthony Alicea and wife Nicole, Brianna Hinds (Devin Brown), Lizabeth Dent, Nevaeh Sullivan (Cade), Noah Dent, and Nayla Dent; great grandchildren, Kinsley Kinney, Stella Alicea, Amelia Brown, and Axton Brown; brother, Gary Johnson and sister-in-law, Gayle, sister, Katy Stoll and brother-in-law, Paul; several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
