Mass of the Christian Burial for Carolina Velasco, 76 of Kilgore will be celebrated 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Reverend John Henao, STL officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Velasco passed away Tuesday, March 31, 20269 in Longview.

Carolina was born February 7, 1950, in Agnascalientes, Mexico to the late Agapito Ortega Rodriguez and Maria del Carmen Parga Duron. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore and was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all that knew her.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m., Friday April 3, 2026, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. The family will receive friends immediately following the Rosary from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
