Graveside services for Burt Wayne Cagle, 73, of Kilgore, will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Danville Cemetery. Burt passed away on December 6, 2020 at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview after a sudden illness.

Burt was born on February 18, 1947 in Pollard, Arkansas to B.W. Cagle and Ora Mae Cagle. He was a mechanic who loved working on trucks and hot rods. Burt was retired from National Oilwell in Kilgore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Carel and Michael Cagle.

Burt is survived by his wife, Connie Stroud Cagle of Kilgore; a son, Brent Wayne Cagle of Kilgore; daughter, Ashley Cagle Weeks of Gilmer; three grandchildren, Braden, Bailey, and Cooper Weeks of Monahans; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
