Cremation arrangements for Bob Jensen, 73 of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. He passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, with his loving wife by his side at his home in Kilgore.

Bob Jensen was born on April 28, 1949 in Osceola, Iowa to Ruby Ethel Ahnen and Melvin Lester Jensen. After graduating from Greenfield high school he joined the United States Navy. Bob was a soldier of the United States Hornet and honorably served his country for four years. He a dedicated worker and was an assistant engineer for over twenty years. Bob married the love of his life Penny on August 3, 2002. They shared twenty years of marriage and countless memories together. Bob loved museums, golfing, riding horses, and working on his land. He enjoyed joking with others and playing practical jokes on his friends and family. Bob was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Penny Jensen of Texas, daughter Angie Hendricks and husband Chris of Texas, stepdaughter Marcy McCully and fiancé Mark Arbidson of Montana, sisters Zella Studder of Iowa, Joyce Binns of Iowa, Joanne Akins and husband Dale of Iowa, and Betty Lauer and husband Dennis (Chip) of Iowa, grandchildren Travis Owens, and Ross Hendricks, step-grandchildren Emily Gravelin, Austin Gravelin, Madison Hendricks, Tavryn Duff, Taebrie Duff, and Navee Duff, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

He was reunited with his parents, Melvin and Ruby Jensen, sons, Bryan Jensen and Bobby Jensen, stepson Jacob L. Western, and brothers-in-law Robert Studder and Paul Binns.
