Agustin Amaro Zuniga
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Danville Cemetery. Fr. John Henao will be the Celebrant. A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Visitation to follow rosary from 7 till 8 p.m. Agustin completed his earthly journey on Monday, February 7, 2022, in Longview.
Agustin was born in Puerto del Zamadoque, Mexico, on May 4, 1942, to Lucia Zuniga and Eulogio Amaro. Following his move to Texas, he was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Kilgore. He worked in the oilfield industry for many years before his retirement later in life. Agustin took pride in his work and enjoyed his career. He loved spending time with his family, attending parties, listening to music, coffee, and scratching lottery tickets. His wife and family were the source of his happiness. Agustin was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria Amaro, his children, Leonel, Evelia, Gabriela, Armando, Norma, Julia, Griselda, six siblings, seventeen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Agustin was preceded in death by his parents, children, Mayra, Hector, Cecilia, and Jose Agustin and four siblings.

La misa de cristiana sepultura se llevará a cabo a las 10 a. m. del viernes 11 de febrero de 2022 en la Iglesia Católica Christ The King. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Danville. Padre John Henao será el Celebrante. Se realizará un rosario el jueves 10 de febrero de 2022, a las 18:30 horas. en la capilla de Rader Funeral Home en Kilgore. Agustín nació en Puerto del Zamadoque, México, el 4 de mayo de 1942, hijo de Lucía Zúñiga y Eulogio Amaro. Después de mudarse a Texas, fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica Christ The King en Kilgore. Trabajó en la industria de los yacimientos petrolíferos durante muchos años antes de jubilarse más tarde en su vida. Agustín se enorgullecía de su trabajo y disfrutaba de su carrera. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, asistir a fiestas, escuchar música, tomar café y rascar billetes de lotería. Su esposa y su familia eran la fuente de su felicidad. Agustín fue un amado esposo, padre, hermano, abuelo y amigo. Será muy extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron.
Quedan para atesorar su memoria su esposa María Amaro, sus hijos Leonel, Evelia, Gabriela, Armando, Norma, Julia, Griselda, seis hermanos, diecisiete nietos y tres bisnietos.
A Agustín le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, hijos, Mayra, Héctor, Cecilia y José Agustín y cuatro hermanos.
