Obituary

Alana Michelle Hearn, born on August 15, 1988, in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on June 18, 2026, in Henderson, Texas. A woman of profound kindness and boundless joy, Alana touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Alana was a treasured granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, and friend whose vibrant spirit and heartfelt generosity made the world a sweeter, brighter place. She was lovingly raised by her grandparents; Sue and Bob W. (deceased) Hearn and her parents Scott and Wendy Richey, and shared a close bond with her siblings, Luke and Cathie Richey. Her family meant everything to her, and Alana’s love extended warmly to her aunt and uncle Woody and Kathy Hearn, as well as to her beloved niece Liliana Richey. She also cherished her many cousins: Jordan, George, and James Hornok, Caleb (Emma) Hearn, Haley (Michael) Deasy, Cooper Hearn, and Donna (Bill) Knight.

Alana's journey began in Kilgore, Texas, where she graduated from Kilgore High School in 2006. As a proud member of the Flag Corp, she shone brightly, demonstrating grace, dedication, and teamwork. She carried these same qualities into her career as a Transportation Specialist for East Texas Treatment Specialist, where she worked with care and commitment.

Known for her sparkling personality, Alana had a heart especially devoted to children. Her kindness radiated through every act of giving, and her playful nature brought endless smiles to those around her. She loved to play games, expressing her creativity and joy through crafts and laughter. Alana’s love of sunflowers was a reflection of her own sunny disposition—bright, cheerful, and full of life.

Among her proudest accomplishments was her role as Kidsmin Team at Calvary Baptist Church of Henderson, where she lovingly guided and inspired others through faith and fellowship. Her presence in the church community was marked by warmth, leadership, and grace, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on June 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 410 N Marshall St, Henderson, Texas, 75652. Following this, a funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM at the same church. The day will conclude with a private family interment at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore.

Alana Michelle Hearn lived a life filled with love, laughter, and light. Though her time with us has ended, the joy she brought, the kindness she shared, and the beauty she cultivated, like the sunflowers she adored, will forever bloom in our hearts. As we remember her, we hold close the sweet memories of a soul so precious, so vibrant, and so deeply loved. Her legacy of compassion and fun will continue to inspire all who knew her.
