Virginia Copeland

Mrs. Virginia Copeland of Kilgore, age 90, passed from this life on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born in Doddridge, Arkansas to the late Eula Ann Mixon and Julius Mixon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Sherman Norman Copeland; daughter, Beulah Ann Copeland; son, Kenneth Copeland Sr.; grandson, Charles Sherman “Chuck” Copeland; great-grandson, Justin Copeland.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Joyce Mitchel l(Mickey) of Kilgore; sons, Neal Copeland (Cathy of Kilgore, Johnnie Copeland (Sue) of Overton, and Ray Copeland (Sharon) of Fouke, Arkansas. She is also survived by thirty-eight grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.


Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Kilgore Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
