Virginia Ann Duke Jafarpour

Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia Ann Duke Jafarpour, 80, of Kilgore will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens and Mausoleums. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Monday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. Mrs. Jafarpour passed away on Thursday September 22, 2022, in Kilgore.

Virginia was born in Kilgore on April 8, 1942. She was the daughter of the late A.W. and Cleo Duke. Virginia was a 1961 graduate of Kilgore High School. She was led to Lord at a young age at First Baptist Church in Kilgore. Virginia had a true passion for reading. She was a homemaker and so enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, and infant son Larry Ray Dovel.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Minnette and Earl Betts of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Fay Duke of Greenville; granddaughter, Shannon Jordan and husband, Jason of Sydney, Montana; great grandchildren, Michael Jordan and wife, Jaymee, Hannah Jordan, and Georgia Jordan; great-great granddaughter, Mable Bowman; nephews, Walker Duke and Alonzo Duke, III.
