Ulysses S. Holman

Memorial Visitation for Ulysses S. Holman, 64 of Kilgore will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Ulysses Holman, known as “7/11”, left his earthly home on July 11, 2022, in Kilgore.

Ulysses was born on December 24, 1957, in Spencer, Oklahoma. Mr. Holman worked at Kilgore Ceramics and the 7-Eleven convenience for several years until he found his calling as a diesel mechanic in the oilfield industry in Kilgore where he worked for Eagle Trucking Company for 15 years and BJ Services 10 years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elfloria Annie Grace Holman, sisters, Annie and Barbara Burst, brothers, Kenneth and Larry Anderson.

He leaves behind his wife, Victoria Holman of Kilgore; daughters, Melissa Holman of Kilgore; sons, Ulysses S Holman, Jr. of Longview, Victor Tyeskie, Pete Tyeskie and daughter, Brandus Hall and husband Quaren all of Kilgore; sister, Eathel Henderson and husband Haywood; brothers, Edsel Holman and wife Denise and Lonza Ray Holman and ten grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
