Tambree "Tammy" Lynn Cole

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Tambree Lynn Cole passed away at the age of 60. Tambree, or as most people called her, Tamie, was born on January 25, 1960 in Austin, Tx. She was a loved daughter, mom, sister, and ‘Pinta’ to her grandchildren. She was mom to Jed McDougal and Jessica Martin. Her favorite people were God and family, especially her children, grandchildren, and the love of her life, Dean. She spent most of her time gardening, painting, making wind chimes, and caring for a variety of animals. She loved all flowers, especially daisies and passion flowers. She was known for her laugh, infectious smile, along with her love for John Wayne. Her most special trait was that she loved with all of her heart. Even in her last days, she loved us big! Her favorite expression of that love was “I love you bunches and bunches”. She didn’t have much, but she was content with what she had. And no matter the circumstances, she trusted God to take care of her. She was faithful in worshipping God at church or at home. She was a Christian and lived out her faith until the very end. She expressed her confidence in knowing Jesus as her Savior in the last days of her life.
Tamie is preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Cole, her father, James Cole, her step-father, Leo Wheeler, and grandparents.
She is survived by the love of her life, Dean Patterson, her mother, Barbara Wheeler, children, Jed and Melissa, Jessica and Jason along with grandchildren, Celton, Cambrie, Lucy, and Lily. She is also survived by her siblings, Bryan and wife, Jenni, Gena and husband, Mark, and Dena and husband, Shannon along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore, Tx.
