Sue Odom

Graveside services for Mrs. Sue Odom, 77, of Kilgore formerly of Overton will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Odom passed away on Monday in Tyler.

Sue was born on March 3, 1945, in Kilgore, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Cline. She lived most of her life in the Overton and Kilgore area. Sue loved to quilt and work crossword puzzles. She enjoyed watching mystery programs on television and she loved children; they all loved her too.

Mrs. Odom was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Cline; husband Chester Odom; and brother Jim Ed Cline.

Sue is survived by her children, Thomas Baughman and wife Deronda of Longview, Donny Dennis and wife Cynthia of Howell, DeAnne Odom of Oklahoma, and Jack Odom and wife Erica of Kilgore. Brother, Tony Cline and wife Vicky; sisters, Judy Slusser and Deanie Deshazer and husband Curtis; 6 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
